Please keep in mind that I love China and that I'm not trying to diss the country here. It has quirks just like anywhere and anything else. Now, with that being said:

Only in China will you find...

1. Such frequent displays of corporate branding.

A caption in the Forbidden City.

2. This sign.

This photograph was taken in one of the famous hutong (alleyways) of Beijing. To be honest, I don't think this particular campaign is working too well.

3. This clothing line...which apparently markets to all ages. I even saw one of my elementary kids wearing Playboy shoes.

This is one of many stores; this particular one is on Nanjing Road in Shanghai.

4. A friggin' Starbucks in the middle of the Forbidden City.

Yeah. I think that's ridiculous.
