Elliott in Hangzhou (2005): The Bloggy Blog
I am now back home in the States.

Explanation

Having a site about all this...well, it looks...pretentious. Like I'm somebody important, or that this little trip is something noble or comparable to a church mission. (The latter is certainly not true.) In addition, I'm a bit of a hypocrite in doing this blog. Yes, I'll make the confession: I don't often read others' blogs. Usually I zone out after the third sentence. I bet most of my visitors haven't made it this far through this paragraph. So I don't expect people to really read a whole of this; it is primarily an online journal for my own personal history. (It may be useful to those planning a similar trip, but of course, China is such a huge diverse world, all I can provide is my perspective.)
