Claire Hair

We get this fancy schmancy camera yet the majority of my pictures of Claire are from my smartphone....but as they say, the best camera is the one you have on you. Here is a random sampling of Claire in low res.

Claire's been enjoying her daily phototherapy sessions. Look how stylish she is!

this may not fly but i like "clem" or "clemie" because it's like CLaire + EMeline. like i said, may not fly but it's so fun to think up names. and oh yeah ... HAPPY BABYDAY!!!! I was beyond excited to see the news. now get some sleep. lara you are a trooper - 13hrs and 24 from start to finish. wow. you must give me some tips for next time (no anouncement). miss you dudes tons!!!

@Fei - That seems to be a popular one among the relatives. =) I see a future halloween costume...

@danje - Love it! I've already started to call her Clemmers. And clem/clemmie reminds me of "clementine," possibly the cutest fruit, which also opens up all sorts of possibilities. Miss you guys!

Here are some additional nicknames after a week with both sides of the fam:
Debra: Claireline
Rachel: Clarabell
Sarah: Clairokee (Sarah even made a small headdress for little Clairey)
Me: Claire-o-dactyl (she makes this awesome pterodactyl-sounding cry when she's hungry). My current favorite.

calie-a-dactyl - yeah kind of beats every other name. rad. i love it. i kept thinking of clementine too for clem or clemmie. it makes me want to send you guys a bushel of clementines to surround little claire with and then take random pictures with your awesome camera. she's so beautiful.
